What's Happening

Sounds & Sights Festival - July 29-31

Sounds & Sights Festival (formerly known as SummerFest) is an annual summer festival in historic Chelsea, Michigan. The event is a highlight of summer that draws visitors from all over the state and beyond. The two-day, three-night event features live music and social tent, children’s entertainment and activities, a classic car show, open-air art market, and much more. Most of the family activities and entertainment throughout the festival is free, with a small fee to enter the Entertainment Tent.

CCA Craft Tent in the KidZone 10am-6pm

We'll be making clay creatures on Friday and beautiful bird kites on Saturday. Stop by and get creative!

Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights

Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights runs from June 17 to August 26 from 6:30-8:30. See a great lineup of musical acts, children’s entertainers, and other artists performing at separate staged areas in walkable downtown Chelsea, Michigan. You can also enjoy a juried sculpture walk, plenty of food options in a casual, family friendly atmosphere and even outdoor movies! NEW! Art on the Lawn, Thursdays during Sounds & Sights

The Chelsea Center for the Arts now offers free art activites on the Chelsea District Library lawn from 6:30-8pm every Thursday during Sounds & Sights. Great for families!
